RELOCATING OR LEAVING ON AN EXTENDED HOLIDAY OR WORK PERMIT

Should you only be relocating to another country and have an intention of returning to South Africa the following regulations will apply.

VEHICLES  WITH A SECOND HAND VALUE OF LESS THAN R50,000.00

In this case we will require a police clearance certificate, registrations papers, export permit from Department of Trade and Industry and a hand written declaration from you stating where you are immigrating to and what the second hand value of your vehicle is. (Any Amount less than R50,000.00).

 

VEHICLES WITH A SECOND HAND VALUE OF MORE THAN R50,000.00

In this case we will require a police clearance certificate, registrations papers, export permit from Department of Trade and Industry and a N.E.P. form from you before we can ship your vehicle out of the country. The N.E.P. form is obtainable from your bank. Before the bank will issue you with the N.E.P. form they will require you to sign a declaration stating that you will be returning the goods to South Africa within 6 months to 2 years. No Tax Clearance Certificate is required.
